Occupational therapy evidence grounded in everyday function

Occupational therapy connects diagnosis and impairment with what a person can actually do in daily life. ProActive Therapy considers the person, the activities that matter and the demands of the environment, then explains the evidence, assumptions, limitations and proportionate options clearly.

  • Personal care, domestic activity and day-to-day independence
  • Cognition, executive function, fatigue, routine and safety
  • Housing, equipment, adaptations and assistive technology
  • Care, support, rehabilitation and case-management needs
  • Community access, education, parenting, leisure and valued roles
  • Vocational function and sustainable return to work

For solicitors, case managers and insurers

A professional enquiry begins with the minimum information required for a conflict, competence and capacity check. Please do not send a full medical bundle through the website or ordinary email. Once the initial checks are complete, ProActive Therapy will confirm whether the proposed work can be accepted, the likely scope and timescale, the applicable terms and quotation, and the secure route for records.

Your instruction defines the questions. The professional opinion remains independent.

Clinical occupational therapy

Clinical assessment and rehabilitation remain available as a separate service for adults, families, case managers and healthcare teams. Support may include neurological rehabilitation, cognition and fatigue strategies, functional assessment, equipment and adaptation recommendations, vocational rehabilitation and goal-led review.

Treating and expert roles are kept distinct. The accepted role, purpose, reporting line, consent and information-sharing arrangements are confirmed before work begins.

Discuss a potential instruction
